Welcome to Donda, a hidden gem in Copenhagen that promises an incredible food experience you won't soon forget. Nestled in the heart of the city, this small Latin American restaurant is a haven for food enthusiasts seeking bold flavors and a cozy atmosphere. Donda boasts a menu that fuses Danish ingredients with Latin American spices, resulting in dishes that are rich with flavor and beautifully balanced. From the moment you step inside, the positive vibe among the staff adds to the overall atmosphere, making you feel right at home. The friendly and chatty team truly loves what they do, and their passion shines through in every interaction. When it comes to libations, Donda doesn't disappoint. Their cocktail selection is fantastic, with the Palomas stealing the show. These refreshing concoctions perfectly complement the spicy nature of the food. If you're feeling adventurous, the drinks are definitely more fun to try than the wines on offer. For the ultimate culinary experience, I highly recommend going for the set menu. While it may be slightly on the pricey side and the portions may be on the smaller side, it's well worth it to sample a variety of their inventive flavors. The dishes are thoughtfully prepared, with crispy or crunchy elements adding texture to each bite. The quesadilla with small fried river shrimp is a standout favorite among patrons. All in all, Donda is my absolute favorite restaurant in Copenhagen. With its amazing Latin American flavors, fantastic cocktails, and super friendly staff, it's an experience not to be missed. Whether you're a local or just passing through the city, I highly recommend heading to Donda and immersing yourself in the taste sensations that await you.

Pizza Bro is a neighborhood joint that serves up decent pizza, but don't expect anything mind-blowing. The dough is just alright, nothing to write home about. It's the kind of pizza you'd find at your local cheap takeaway spot. The Bianca pizza, in particular, was a bit disappointing with its measly topping. You can practically see in the pictures how I ended up eating mostly bread for half of my pizza. I'll definitely be giving Pizza Bro a miss next time I'm in the Bridge Street Kitchen area. The pizza here is good, but not great. And honestly, I found it a little overpriced for what you get. The prices aren't much lower than some of the better pizza joints in town, even though this is supposed to be street food or take-away. Don't get me wrong, the pizza is decent, but I wouldn't say it's worth breaking the bank for. Now let's talk about service, or lack thereof. I had the misfortune of them forgetting to make my pizza, which resulted in a 40-minute wait. And there was no apology, no offer for a free pizza next time, just a smile and a "better luck next time." Not exactly the kind of customer service that makes you want to come back. However, I must admit that the pasta at Pizza Bro is something special. It has a delightful flavor and an irresistible crunchiness, thanks to being cooked in a wood-fired oven. If the owner decided to invest in some financing, they could easily become a force to be reckoned with and give their competitors a run for their money. Take it from an Italian, the pasta here is delicious. If you're in the mood for sourdough pizzas, Pizza Bro is worth a visit. They only offer 2-3 different pizzas each day, but they are pretty good. Plus, they always have a vegetarian option available, which is a nice touch. So, if you're in the area and looking for a quick slice, Pizza Bro is worth considering.
If you're on the hunt for a top-notch pizza joint in Copenhagen, look no further than Hos Nicola. This little gem is known for its fantastic Diavola pizza, which is an explosion of flavors thanks to their high-quality ingredients. Trust me, they don't skimp on the good stuff. Now, there's one downside that I have to mention: you can't actually dine in at this place. But fear not, my hungry friends, because if you're lucky, there's a single table outside where you can sit and devour your pizza with pure satisfaction. And let me tell you, it's worth it. I do have a little story to share though. My buddies and I once ordered from Hos Nicola, and they mistakenly gave us the wrong pizza. It wasn't until we got back to our place and opened the box that we realized the error. At that point, we were too famished to trek all the way back and get it fixed, so we decided to give it a shot anyway. And you know what? It was still damn good, just not what we originally ordered. But let's not dwell on the mishaps, because overall, Hos Nicola is a great spot to grab some freshly made pizza or their delectable baked baguette sandwiches. The staff really cares about serving up amazing food, as they even redid our sandwich order when the bread got slightly burnt. And here's a tip for you students out there: they have some affordable lunchtime deals that won't break the bank. Just make sure you order from the right menu, whether it's pizza or sandwiches. So, if you find yourself in Copenhagen craving a big, delicious sandwich or a mouthwatering pizza, swing by Hos Nicola. The taste is spot-on, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Even though I'm not a local, I can confidently say that I would definitely come back for another round of their flavorful offerings.
